A question about the worldcon...

Rather, it's a question about the Marriott Rivercenter. Is its parking lot an open-air area, or an enclosed structure? Also, do they have valet service? I hope not. I'll need to get stuff in and out during the con, and I'd rather do it myself, without a valet, a lackey or even a butler.

According to Russ, it's a multilevel covered structure, not surface-level parking. Any hotel of this level is going to have valet parking available; Russ doesn't know if they also have self-parking. My suggestion is to just call the front desk and ask them.

I called the hotel yesterday and they confirmed that the garage is an underground stucture and that they have a non-valet section. I'm glad to hear that because I will need quick and easy access to our minivan throughout the con.
