It's disconcerting when someone who has power over you basically says that what you considered to be your better angels really are weaknesses. And he says that meaning to be helpful.

Knowing nothing whatever about this person: I do not think "helpful" is what is meant.

He's the team lead above me. I'm fairly certain he truly feels I'm doing it wrong. Problem is that I think I'm doing it right because I try to be the coordinator I did not have when I was struggling as a computer programmer. The problem with my problem is that he is the one with the power to say what's right or wrong and to dictate what Reality should be. I'll get over it. I always do.
