In case you're wondering why yesterday's entry referred to verbose posts, that was in reaction to this:

Apparently, there's some site meter that considers Kathryn's posts too verbose because she uses too many sentences. How silly. Her posts are the length they need to be. So are mine(*), although my wife says they're too short for people to find anything to respond to, but I prefer to think of them as information-dense(**).
