June's page of my office calendar - from the June 1940 issue of "Science Fiction" - features many rotund green-skinned orange-bearded cyclops looking on eagerly as one of theirs finishes dragging over a big Bunsen burner a scaffold on top of which kneels a tied-up tall voluptuous blonde Earthwoman dressed in minimal rags.
