nuts and bolts and a spine

I got the nuts & bolts I need for my 'carpentry' project. They *still* haven't replenished the stock for the length I wanted, so I showed flexibility and went for two different lengths. In other news, the cactus spine that had taken residence in my thumb tip one week ago has been extracted.
