So says Samaritan, member of the Honor Guard, in the 2nd issue of Kurt Busiek's "Astro-City". The tale though is not about this latest threat to humanity. Have you ever wondered how the Good Guys in comic-books find out about all those menaces? The answer is that groups like the Honor Guard have a call center comprised of thousands of people whose job it is to go thru the *many* calls for help that they receive every day, and how they must exercise their own judgement as to whether an emergency can best be taken care of by the local authorities or by the big guns.
