But it's a Texas flag!

Texas's doesn't have stripes though. We'll just say the single star is dramatic license.

It's not Texas, guys.

If you open the book up so you can see the front and back cover, it becomes clearer, because the back cover has two stars and a blue field on top.

It's the US flag, very close up, so you see only the bottom right corner of the blue field, next to the stripes.

What's that unpronounceable French phrase? Ah, yes: trompe d'oeil. I think that's what the picture does to my perception.

We the Tania say: "Very nice!"

I hope it helps you dispense justice and promote domestic tranquility.

We the Serge say "Of course." And we often wonder if the current Commander in Chief has ever read it.

I'm certain his reading comprehension level is that high. I certainly can't believe that he is familiar with it, as his oath of office contains the phrase "will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." and he seems to be doing everything he can to destroy and pervert it. Not that I have an opinion, or anything like that, you understand.

NOT certain. It was supposed to be "not certain his reading comprehension level is that high". Arrgh.

I remember your telling me that, but not whether or not he sent a thank-you note.

Of course it is possible that he understands the words, but since they get in the way of what he wants, he just ignores them, being the spoiled Boy Emperor that he is. Not that I have an opinion either.

As we all know by now, Abi is multi-talented and very good at each of those talents.
