Yesterday's return flight went fine. Sue picked me up then we had dinner at a burger joint on Central and finally came home, where our doggies greeted us in their usual effusive manner. We watched part of Truffaut's "The Last Metro" on TCM then I recorded the rest while we watched 1950's "No Way Out", which starred Sidney Poitiers, Richard Widmark and, hey, that's Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee! I woke up early today, as I'm wont to do, and, as soon as there was enough light, I went out to weed the pesky things that have enjoyed our finally frequent rains. I'm done for now and have a few errands to run, and a haircut to have. By the way, did you know that the SyFy Channel's schedule for today involves only sharks? Me, I'll be reading "Abaddon's Gate".
