my democratic duty on November 19

Albuquerque's November 19 election has a measure on the ballot which would make an abortion illegal after 20 weeks.

I'm voting to defeat that.

There's an exception if the mother's physical health is endangered, but not if your mental health is, or if you're pregnant because of rape or incest.

I was wondering when the rape/incest exception would be attacked. Obviously they have to keep the physical health exception; if the woman dies, she can't be forced to carry her next dozen pregnancies.

Yeah... That being said, I'm a bit disappointed by ML's thread about various elections that are coming up. I finally bring up one issue that I thought would interest people. Pretty much no response. Instead they open a new thread. Maybe they didn't want to touch the subject of abortion.
