Sue went to bed early so I prepared the carryon for my upcoming trip. I know, my flight to the Bay Area leaves on Monday, but so what? That's one less thing on tomorrow's to-do list. I managed to fit everything I need for the trip in the carryon, including a DVD of "Doctor Who" episodes. My Nook is crammed full with stories, with Daniel Abraham's novel "Tyrant's Law" at the top of the stack.

I'll probably turn in soon, but for now I'm going thru my pile of "Locus" issues while the TV is tuned to the Singers & Swing channel.
