We knew it'd happen sooner or later, what with 13-year-old girl Freya's hind legs giving her more and more trouble. When we came back from the gym this morning, neither her front legs nor her hind legs would support her weight so we took her to the vet, where she went to sleep forever.

Thanks. One wonders if one was too quick in making the decision, but moving around was painful for my girl, even though she never made a sound to complain.

Better to lose one good day than to have an unnecessary bad day. She hurt, she didn't know why, and she trusted you to fix it. And you did the only thing you could.
