And our higherups probably have no idea what a good thing they have in people like us. Or maybe they kno, but that doesn't matter. That's because, to them, this is just a job, a stepping stone to other bigger things.
My apologies for yesterday. I was feeling quite disappointed that my higherups had gone over my head to assign one of the two people of my prod-support subteam away to the new system's upgrade without ever telling me. It was especially disappointing that said employee did this behind my back. Oh well... It's a good career move for him. But it goes to show that your trying to be the manager you wish you'd had doesn't mean that others care what kind of manager they have. So it goes.
