I just finished watching my dvd set of 2002's tv series "Birds of Prey". It lasted only fourteen episodes. That may have been because of its uneven writing, its often pedestrian plots that did not take full advantage of its setting and of its premise, but it had its moments I liked that the whole thing revolved around three women... Huntress, grownup and angry daughter of Batman and Catwoman... Dina Lance Oracle, aka Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl, confined to a wheelchair after the Joker shot her... Dina Lance, psychic teenage daughter of the Black Canary... Oracle, aka Barbara Gordon, once known as Batgirl, now confined to a wheelchair after the Joker shot her... I'd like to think the series was not cancelled *because* it revolved around three capable women.
