more room out of less room

I have finally completed to cleanup of my home office, which shares a room with Sue’s research books as you can see on the left side of the photo's third image. Turning the location from the first image into the second one involved quite a bit of moving things around, but I managed to make more space out of less space, albeit the passage to my actual desk is now quite cozy. I had to do quite a bit of book-pruning. My criterias were based essentially on how I now feel about the author, or on the memories I associate with the book and/or what my life was like when I bought it. That shelf full of nothing but books by Clifford Simak emerged unscathed of course. I’ll probably never reread any of the books you see, but they’re there, neatly arranged, and a great first sight when I come into the room.
