punchy in Tehachapi
Dec. 18th, 2007 01:59 pmThanks for the wishes, all of you. There was no snow fall. Neither did I fall asleep at the wheel, thanks to two large cups of Starbuck's finest with 3 shots of espresso in each cup, and thanks to the physician known as Doctor Pepper. Still, last night, by the time I got to Tehachapi's mountain pass, I was feeling punchy.
When we left from Bakersfield this morning, it started raining and didn't let up until we got here here and until after I was done unloading our minivan. (Of course.) I don't know if that should worry me. Last time this happened was at Christmas two years ago and it rained and rained and rained until I came to the Bay Area the following April.
Thanks again.
