So said David Strathairn in "Alphas", the 2nd season of which begins tonight on the Skiffy Channel. I guess the darn thing has grown on me.

Last night's in-joke on "Leverage" might have been that Russian hockey player being named Busiak. It might be a reference to comic-book writer Kurt Busiek although I'm not sure what the tie is between him and hockey and the mean turtle.

her 78th birthday

This morning I called my mom, what with today being her 78th birthday. She lives in Quebec City, thousands of miles away, so we see each other only every 4 or 5 years, but I call once in a while and reassure her that her first-born is alive and well.
