I've been in the Bay Area all week. It's been a busy week at the office and I had limited access to non-work sites, thus my relative silence. Tomorrow I'm flying back home and to Sue.

Tonight was the company's Christmas Party in San Francisco. Hot. Crowded. Nearly impossible for me to hear others. But... The theme was Bollywood and that meant many ladies in traditional costumes, and many of the ladies actually are from India, and even those not in costume could dance the dance. If I had known that the party had a theme and that it was Indian, I'd have tried to get a Nehru jacket. On the other hand, that probably have made me look like a character from the year 1980 as Gerry Anderson's 1968 TV series "UFO" envisionned it.

I had brought my new brain to the Bay Area office this week, hoping that the local experts could install the last few softwares I need for it to do its job. Alas, things went wrong and my brain needs to be reformatted, which means starting all over again. So said the last person who wrestled with it - one Campbell, and his first name thankfully was that of the editor of "Astounding/Analog", not that of the star of "Evil Dead".
