steampunk lit and outfit

I promise. This is going to be my last FiestaCon/WesterCon post. What can I say? This was the first time I was asked to be on panels at a con - not including an interview of CJ Cherryh about 22 years ago.
Here is the only photo that turned out ok, from the steampunk-literature panel moderated by Michael Contos:

And here is a photo of yours truly in his steampunk outfit, after having had dinner with fellow blogger AJ Reardon and her hubby Chris:

By the way, AJ makes wonderful jewelery, as you can see here.
My wife, writer Susan Krinard, also was on a few panel. During one about what makes a good TV show, someone in the audience said that, while Star Trek's NextGen struck a balance between conservative & liberal politics, he felt that Voyager should have been called Star Trek - Kumbaya. For some reason, I fail to imagine Captain Janeway holding hands with the crew in between her eating carbonized marshmallows.
