Starting at 3amPT tomorrow, Turner Classic Movies will be showing the following movies:

They Came From Beyond Space
From the Earth to the Moon
First Men in the Moon
Twelve to the Moon
Destination Moon
The Mouse on the Moon
Have Rocket, Will Travel
Moon Pilot
A Trip to the Moon
For All Mankind
The Right Stuff
Marooned
Capricorn One

Some of them I already own on DVD. One I have no wish to see ever again and you can probably guess which one. I'll probably record most of the remaining ones onto my DVR, especially Disney's Moon Pilot, which I haven't seen since I was a young teen, but not so long ago that I forgot that the alien lady was quite cute.

As for why those movies will be on TCM, you do remember what happened on that date, 40 years ago, right?

I watch Mythbusters from time to time, but I didn't see that episode.

I'm not saying I believe the conspiracy theory - I think you'd have to see the evidence first-hand to make an informed decision - but I remember enjoying Capricorn One when it came out. I'd like to see it again.

My apologies. I wasn't suggesting your belief in the conspiracy. I was just wondering about your having seen that MB episode, what with your interest in the subject.

Lol, I just saw the conspiracy thing at the weekend, and wondered if it inspired the movie, or vice versa.
