tomorrow on TCM

Starting at 3amPT tomorrow, Turner Classic Movies will be showing the following movies:

They Came From Beyond Space
From the Earth to the Moon
First Men in the Moon
Twelve to the Moon
Destination Moon
The Mouse on the Moon
Have Rocket, Will Travel
Moon Pilot
A Trip to the Moon
For All Mankind
The Right Stuff
Marooned
Capricorn One

Some of them I already own on DVD. One I have no wish to see ever again and you can probably guess which one. I'll probably record most of the remaining ones onto my DVR, especially Disney's Moon Pilot, which I haven't seen since I was a young teen, but not so long ago that I forgot that the alien lady was quite cute.

As for why those movies will be on TCM, you do remember what happened on that date, 40 years ago, right?

I've never heard of most of them--which one are you avoiding and why?

There are times I do wish I watched television.

Missing is, _The Dish_ from 2000.

They actually made a movie out of Wibberley's "Mouse on the Moon?" Oh my.

I loved the books. Grand Duchy of Fenwick indeed.

Thanks for the heads up. After watching the Lunar Landing: conspiracy theory over the weekend, I'd like to watch Capricorn One again :)
